BiteMark Sdn Bhd was founded and incorporated in Malaysia in 2006. We are focused on research, development and marketing of Bluetooth centered mobile information networks. Proximate's products and services are generally applied to retail and consumer service companies who are focused on using Proximate to meet their mobile advertising and marketing needs. Our technology, research and develpment activities are based wholly in Malaysia. Proximate Mobile Information network technologies is currently patent pending.

Ben is strong proponent of ubiquitous computing. He passionately believes that technology should be so seamlessly integrated into our daily life that the user is completely oblivious toward its presence. Ben comes from a computer engineering background and has been crafting intelligent software solution for the past 5 years. He's an experienced technopreneur and was running his own software house which advocates the usage of Open Source Technology for various different multi-national corporations prior before forming BiteMark, and he is still actively involve in other ventures. Ben believes technical innovation can be used to enrich consumer experience, he was experimenting with a new info-directory system when he invented Proximate.

Sumi has been involved in the mobile communications industry for 6 years. He was involved in developing the earliest mobile data go-to-market plan for a large telecommunication provider based in Malaysia. He then went on to work with the Multimedia Super Corridor, nurturing and growing young entrepreneurial talent in the telecommunication sector. He was the first to successfully set up partnerships between public and private sectors to assist young entrepreneurs with innovative business plans in the mobile application arena. A key proponent of location based services, Sumi is passionate about the mantra, access to the right information, at the right time, right place through any device.
