How does BlueTooth Devices Communicate
Bluetooth is basically consisted of a tiny radio transmitter and receiver embedded within an electronic device. For two or more Bluetooth devices to communicate with each other, they will exchange data in the form of radio signals with each other. Unlike your typical radio-based media, Bluetooth facilitate both multicast and singlecast capability - meaning Bluetooth device can broadcast content to multiple device simultaneously and it can address each individual device with separate content simultaneously.

What is Behavioural Marketing and how does that relates to Proximate

What really distinguishes Proximate is its ability to record and remember all past interaction with a specific Bluetooth device. Combine that ability together with a behavioural rule engine, Proximate will be able to infer the most appropriate and effective content for each specific Bluetooth device.

Wouldn't that violate Privacy
Because Proximate tracks a device by its unique Bluetooth address, and not by its phone number - we would not associate any data gathered to any specific individual. Furthermore, Proximate has two additional mechanism to protect the consumer's privacy. Before each transmission, Proximate will prompt a transmission request on the consumer's Blueooth device. The consumer must explicitly agree to accept the download before any actual transmission can begin. Also, Proximate can send a disclosure message as preclude before any interaction.

Would there be any danger of spamming
Because Proximate is a permission-based medium, consumers are empowered with the ability to control the amount of exposure. Consumers must choose to participate in the Proximate experience, and again must choose to accept incoming transmission from Proximate. Furthermore, Proximate has plenty of in-built features and controls which allow the brands to fine-tune, control and ensure that the overall consumer experience is an enjoyable one.
